Project Overview
Our team recently completed a full roof restoration for a body corporate complex on Queen Street in Southport. After inspecting the property and assessing the condition of the roof, we provided the client with several options including a metal reroof, tile reroof and a full roof restoration. The body corporate ultimately chose a complete restoration as it provided the best balance between cost, longevity and improved appearance.
The project included a thorough pressure clean, detailed roof repairs, resealing and a full repaint to revitalise both the look and performance of the roof. During the initial inspection we identified several active leak points, which were addressed through a complete re-clip of the tiles along with flashing and valley reseals to ensure the roof was fully watertight before coating began.
To provide long-term protection, we applied Industrial Roof Coatings’ Platinum Primer followed by two thick coats of premium roof membrane in the colour Homestead. This high-performance coating system is designed to handle the harsh Queensland climate and comes backed by a 15-year manufacturer’s warranty.
The finished result is a refreshed, weatherproof roof that dramatically improves the overall presentation of the complex while delivering reliable long-term protection for the entire building.
